Youth Christmas Event

There’s nothing quite like Christmas to bring out the kid in everyone. Holiday cards, gift giving and receiving, stuffed animals and other toys, hoping for that perfect gift from someone special — the Christmas season is a special time of year.

But for millions of children all over the world who face hunger, lack of clean water, homelessness and poverty on a daily basis, the holiday season isn't something to celebrate.

Locally, we see these same families and children dealing with these very things and strive to put a smile on every child's face this holiday season. Through the power of outreach, prayer, and a generous community & church, we have put together a youth event to bless these children and their families this holiday season.

We had a great time this past Friday (12/16) putting on the Youth Christmas event for 6 families with 16 children in total! There were many bright faces and smiles as they celebrated this time of year with presents, food, and fellowship. Many presents were ripped open and enjoyed by the children!

They capped the night off by taking the teens for bowling in Brownsburg for some fun cosmic bowling!

A special thank you to all of those who volunteered their time and those who donated gifts and food as well. Thank you to John and Nancy Clausen, Terri DeNeal, Debbi Landrum & the Food Pantry, and everyone else who made this successful event possible.
